Issues with the new layout?

I know there are some issues. I'm working on a better looking layout so chill the fuck out. Now, lets see if we can pinpoint some of these issues so I can get to fixin'.

Another problem is that, after viewing a thread, it remains highlighted even after you've checked it a couple of times. Shits annoying. I guess I need to do some work... at my work. I'll play with it soon.

if you are going to play with it.

try rubbing it also.

and cupping is also good.

The PM thing isn't a big deal, probably just something due to the data transfer. I only had like 10 messages in my in box, all had been read, but after the transfer, there were like 41 that had already been deleted, and it showed that they were all new. I deleted them all, and they haven't returned, so I guess that problem was solved. either that, or I got a crap load of PMs over the last 24 hours, and I didn't bother reading them and I deleted them all. lol, not likely though, I'm not that popular lol.

Main problem Ive found is that Im not an admin anymore, hahaha. The thing on the forums remaining highlighted I noticed. However if you click back on the subforum after reading the new threads it clears the "new" status off and they are no longer highlighted.

40 pm's are nothing, try having to go back through 287pm's all the way back to 2005. Most of them were sent pm's that I guess I never deleted. But on the old layout I had about 60 or so.

I like the new lay out and haven't really had any issues.

Yeah, I too am overall satisfied with the new home for nismokc. Now we need to make it a bit more interesting at the actual meets, and such. but that is a subject that would make a good and separate topic of discussion.

only if you become a moderator. otherwise, just edit your post, and put in that you edited it yourself. Something like:

"post edited by user for posting something stupid"

Or something like that.

I'm having a problem with the forums not showing "read" even if I go back to the main page and stuff. Both Firefox (home) and Internets Explorer (work).

Any help there?

Kevin, I've noticed that same thing off and on. If you use the back button on your browser, it will not show read. I just click on the nismokc logo in the top left. Sends you back to the main page and seems to do the trick most of the time.

Yeah, I click on the "nismokc" banner thing in the upper left all the time. I read or post and to back up I just click the banner. The individual posts show "read", but the main topics still show that they are un-read.

Any ideas? Clear my cookies?

click the "NEW POSTS" up in the center of the page. I do that every time I log on and after I've made some posts.
