OK the site should be back up and running.
I would recommend deleting your cookies so it can reload a new one for the site.

is there an advantage to reloading a new kouki for the site? just curious

It's not a giant deal. I've heard of a few people not deleting their old cookies, and every time they come to the site they have to log back in.
Deleting the old NismOkc cookies seems to solve the issue.
